A Lantz Design Selected to Attend Prestigious ‘Kravet Inc. National Design Educational Experience’


DECEMBER 2016 CARMEL IN — A Lantz Design has been specially selected to attend the Kravet Inc. National Design Educational Experience, a first-ever learning event that includes a full week of touring London’s finest design studios, presentations from experts in diverse aspects of design and a tour of The National Gallery in Trafalgar Square.

“We are deeply honored to have been chosen for this unique recognition. This is a one-of-a-kind experience that will enable us to better fulfill our clients’ design visions,” said Barry Lantz, founder and designer. “Over the years, we have embraced Kravet to deliver distinctive designs to our clients and we intend to return from Europe with even greater expertise related to interior design and traditional approaches to benefit our customers. It will be exciting to experience the latest innovations in design, fabric, furniture, wall coverings and more,” added Amanda Lantz, Barry’s daughter, president and designer.

The Design Educational Experience was created by Kravet, Inc., a global distributor of fabrics, furniture, wall coverings, trimmings, carpets and accessories. The Kravet portfolio reads like the Who’s Who in the world of international design, and features such top brands as Lee Jofa, Groundworks and GP & J Baker.

The unique educational journey spans a week in mid December and includes visits to the Blythe House Archive at the world-famous Victoria & Alberts Museum, the Knole in Seven Oaks, the offices of Elle Decoration UK, a tour of Mulberry Fashion Studio, and a tour of the Royal Academy. The London itinerary also includes many opportunities for the A Lantz designers to interact and build relationships with other influential designers from across the country and the global Kravet team. Kravet has announced the exclusive event be will be an annual, by-invitation-only experience that will be hosted in different major cities each year.
